Tuesday Gentle Hybrid Yoga is perfect for you if:
- you’d like to slow down
- you’re recovering from an injury or surgery
- you are an active, always-on-the-go kind of person
- you are seeking a different type of self-care practice
- Balance and strength is important to you
This class consists of warming the body using slow gradual movements, focusing on present moment physical self-evaluation. In other words, checking in moment by moment, supporting your body’s decision to go deeper or longer or not! Strengthening and balancing poses as well as core toning are part of each class. Downward Facing Dog pose is left out of this class; we strengthen the upper body in other ways!
Breath exercises and a short supported meditation are added before Savasana (relaxation pose)–always a luxurious ten to fifteen minutes!
Add an eye pillow if you have one, and sink into a state of deep and complete relaxation; the kind that restores and replenishes your body, mind and spirit.

YOGA CLASS RATES ARE $23 for drop-ins
For home practice, please have a yoga mat or towel, two blocks, a blanket, a yoga tie/belt for practice.
Optional bolster/pillow for under knees for final relaxation, as well as an eye pillow.
