RESTORATIVE YOGA & GUIDED MEDITATION (YOGA NIDRA)
~ A RESTORATIVE, MINDFUL PAUSE ~
Experience relaxing yoga poses, breath work practices and guided meditation designed to initiate the parasympathetic nervous system (the rest-and-digest nervous system). In this deep state of relaxation, the body rests, heals and balances emotions from the effects of chronic stress.
The class begins with centering and gentle movement, transitioning into supported yoga poses with blankets, pillows and bolsters in a peaceful environment. Each restorative posture is held passively, allowing the body to gradually unwind tightness.
Rejuvenate and enjoy nourishing restorative postures where the body is completely supported by props.
